Leadership Oneida County
INSPIRING LEADERS TO ENRICH OUR COMMUNITY
A community leadership program since 2010, Leadership Oneida County brings together a cohort of professionals from a variety of business sectors to engage in monthly sessions that expose participants to various areas of our community, challenge their thinking, and inspire them to get involved in improving the quality of life for Oneida County.
The program is designed for driven professionals that are committed to personal, professional, and community growth with class sizes being around 20 individuals.
Join the Next Leadership Class
Running from September to May, the once a month sessions include speakers, team-building activities, interactive lessons, and opportunities to build connections between classmates. The goal is to expose participants to various areas of our community, challenge their thinking and inspire them to get involved in improving the quality of life for everyone in the community.
Teams work on a project that benefits the community to raise awareness, solve a community issue, or help meet the needs of a nonprofit organization.
Participants come from a variety of backgrounds. This experience is for those who wish to build strong relationships, will work to improve our community after commencement, and are committed to their own personal and professional development.
Submit a Project Idea
Does your organization or community group have a project you need help with? If so, the Leadership Oneida County class of 2024-2025 would like you to submit your projects for consideration.
Leadership participants have assisted their communities in a number of ways throughout the history of the program. Previous projects have included assisting a non-profit in creating a marketing plan, creating the Oneida County Courthouse Walking Tour, developing a program for hungry students within the school district and more. The possibilities for your group are endless!
Applications for Community Service Project ideas are due by September 1, 2024. The Leadership Oneida County Steering Committee will review all applications and selected organizations will be asked to describe their project to the class at a later date.
