Rhinelander District Library – Public Service Announcement

LIBRARY CLOSURE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The safety of our patrons and employees is a priority to the Rhinelander District Library. The Board of the Rhinelander District Library has decided RDL will be closed March 17, 2020, until further notice. The library will be evaluating what limited services it may offer, if any, at its physical address. Please do not return materials to the Rhinelander District Library at this time. The drop boxes are closed. All materials checked out will have due dates extended. Fines will be forgiven for items due during this time. Library cards set to expire in this period will also have their dates extended. Closure will be evaluated for continuation or not on April 3, 2020.

RDL offers many items electronically. Downloadable e-books and audiobooks are available through the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium via Libby and Overdrive. Badgerlink provides multiple reference resources. Gale Courses are available for academic and self-improvement classes. Virtual storytimes for children and adults—as well as other virtual concerts, theater, and tours will be linked on RDLs Facebook page.

Want to know more? These links and others will be on the library’s website.
