    Administrative Assistant (part-time), Rhinelander, WI
    Part-Time - Depends on Qualifications, Department: Inspection
    The City of Rhinelander is seeking an experienced professional to work under the guidance of Inspection Department Administrator to assist in carrying out the Inspection Department activities and shall also provide back-up, general support to City Departments when necessary.

    Mechanic, Rhinelander, Full-Time - Depends on Qualifications, Department: Public Works
    The Street Department Mechanic is responsible for completing, evaluation, repair and report of equipment operations.  This employee shall assist the Street Foreman with scheduling maintenance and repairs of City-owned, leased, or rented vehicles and equipment.  This employee will also be responsible for maintaining the mechanics shop (work areas) in a safe and effective manner.  This employee will perform call in duty when needed and routinely report to the Street Foreman.

    Street Maintenance Worker - Asphalt Emphasis, The street maintenance worker will routinely perform repair and maintenance of the city roadway and parking area systems with an emphasis on asphalt surfaces.  This employee will work both independently or as part of a crew to complete assigned work tasks. This employee will handle moderately complex work activities to safely operate and maintain equipment effectively to accomplish assigned work tasks.  This employee shall periodically perform call in duty.  This employee reports to the Street Foreman. 

    Street Marking, Sign and Light Technician - The Street Marking, Sign and Light Technician is responsible for installation and maintenance of the city's street and regulatory signage, street & traffic light equipment, and traffic paint markings to standards as required by the MUTCD and ADA. The Technician handles moderately complex work activities involving electrical test & installation equipment and light machinery used for paint & sign applications. The Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and securing all equipment pertaining to the Light/Sign Technician duties. The work is performed under the direction of the Street Foreman.
