Sip of Culture: Sugar Skulls Art and Cocktail Party

In a fun and creative atmosphere, participants will learn about the significance of sugar skulls while decorating their own to take home and enjoying a specialty cocktail or a glass of wine. The event is inspired by our exhibition; Diego and Frida: A smile in the Middle of the Way, in cooperation with the Mexican Consulate of Milwaukee. Galleries will be open for viewing at the event.

Traditional materials such as icing, beads, and sequins will be provided. BC Cakes will teach decorating and piping techniques to attendees.  

This is a self-lead class and does not have a formal structure. Participants can come and go as they need to. It will take roughly 1 hour to decorate a sugar skull.
