Event Description:
Tonight take in the sounds from: Rhinelander Area Community Band.
Community Band presents: NOT Christmas in July
As always, attendance is free and popcorn will be served; some seating is available, but listeners are urged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Rhinelander Area Community Band director Jim Pekol has been asked to break out holiday music this summer. He agreed, but with a catch: "This will be music that isn't really Christmas music, but is associated with Christmas nevertheless."
Selections include Sleigh Ride, March of the Toys, Baby It's Cold Outside and Jungle Bell Rhapsody, along with other pieces.
In case of bad weather, the concert will move to the senior center across the parking lot.
