Event Description:
Japanese Shibori and Indigo Dye - Experience the building of a traditional indigo fermentation vat with visiting artisan Takayuki Ishii ofAwonoyoh (Kanagawa, Japan). Explore basic Japanese shibori resist techniques to prepare your fabric to indigo dye in the vat that will be ready to use on the evening of September 27 during a demonstration open to the public
at Art Start.
