Hunter’s Safety Course 

The Oneida County Sheriff ’s Office is sponsoring a Wisconsin DNR certified hunter education course. Course objectives include: reduce the potential for accidents, injuries and fatalities; reduce the potential for conflict between participants, landowners and other resource users; promote safe, responsible and ethical use of the environment and our resources. Students are required to obtain a DNR customer ID number for this class. After you register online at https://www.rhinelander.k12.wi.us/community/communityeducation.cfm, please contact the DNR at 1-888-936-7463 to obtain this number. THEN, PLEASE CONTACT MIKE CHESLOCK EITHER BY PHONE AT 715-365-9745 OR BY EMAIL AT cheslmik@rhinelander.k12.wi.us AND PROVIDE HIM WITH THIS NUMBER. This will ensure proper registration. STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ARE ASKED TO NOTIFY US PRIOR TO CLASS AND
REQUEST SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION.

Ages: Age 12 and older is the target age, but all ages are welcome

If the online software indicates that the class is full, there may still be room if you register by paper. Please call 715-365-9745 to inquire about space. Space is limited for all classes.

We encourage online registration, but you can still register by mail or drop off a paper registration form that can be found at:http://www.rhinelander.k12.wi.us/community/communityeducation.cfm.

Please print the form, complete it, and mail it with payment to the address on the form. Your registration and payment must be received before the registration deadline for the class. Personal check is preferred.
