Nicolet College Northwoods Pride Festival Canceled,
Virtual Event to be held July 18th, 2020
Saturday June 27th would have been the 4th annual Northwoods Pride Festival at Nicolet College in Rhinelander WI. However, the event has been canceled this year due to COVID-19. There are now plans to commemorate Pride with a virtual event this Summer on July 18th, (time to be announced) The Rainbow Hodags, a student group at Nicolet College will be the host of a webinar titled: “Transgender Talk.” The event will start off with a guest speaker from a national Transgender group named Forge Forward (see https://forge-forward.org/ ) followed by a panel of local transgender speakers who will share their stories, voices, and thoughts.
Event Sponsors include: Associated Bank, Northwoods Gardener, French's Homestead Veterinary Care and Riverstone Communities. The exact time and webinar link will be announced soon on the Facebook page for the Rainbow Hodags. https://www.facebook.com/rainbowhodags/
